The mother is more responsible for the development of a child. All through the childhood, he spends all his time with the mother, watches & imitates & gets the guidence from the mother. As he grows he he learns about the relationship between other family members, & all these influences his development.

Parents,people around in the family are responsible for child's behaviour.
Children observe each and evry action of your's especiallythe parents.You became their idol and they try to ape each and everything you do.
Hence initial 5 years child's development is maximum .Child should be given maximum attention.So that child's development is maximum.

The child is a responsiblity of both the parents as they both are responsible for bringing the child into this world,its a man;s job to earn sufficiently so that his wife is not required to go out and work there by neglecting the child and its development.Children are not responsiblites they are the out come of our desires, love them , cherish them unconditonally. Parents , specially mothers are more esponsible , because naturally mothers remain more close to the childs during the first years of birth . Biologically too mothers are closeer to childs , hence they are more responsible for the development of the cchild .
