MCA is all about computer application - you can very well do it....provided you have good knowledge / atleast basic knowledge of computer application....it would be better if you had computer application in your B.Com.......cuz otherwise you will find it difficult to understand the computer programming language......
however, if you have knowledge and confident, go ahead....you will succeed....
alternatively, since you don't wanna do CA / MBS.....the other options are to do ICWA (cost accounting) - a good option.......OR else you can try Company Secretary - this field is growing.....its about doing all the liason work between a company and stock exchange, like - listing of company on stock exchange, dividends, shares etc..,,,, it also goes into looking into the legal aspects of company's new investment / mergers / take-over etc., an interesting job....and not restricted to only accounting work.....
Take your call and do whatever you feel you are good at, and what you wish to become in future...
all the careers listed above are good and successful, if you put your sould and mind.
good luck !!!!!
if you are very good at accounting subjects go for CA / ICWA (cost accounting)......
alternatively you can try for Company Secretary.....good scope for career development - its all about company's listing with stock exchange, its formation, amalgamatio and other legal and accounting work that goes into mergers, acquisition etc.,
you may also try financial analyst - get CFA certification - an internationally recognised course.....
OR you may do your masters / MBA in Finance, if you are interested in business part of accounting.
all the best !!!!
