I would suggest you to try solving entrance exam sample papers and also join some coaching institutes like Narayana, Carrier Launcher, FITJEE ....etc and start preparing from day1...f you have to solve last 10 gate paper....If you want to prepare for M.Tech at IIT, then the right time to start is right after 3rd year of B.TECH OR Graduation . yes if course is ove then you can do it...Dear Aakansha it depends how much you want to score.. if you want just pass or 2nd dividion then you can solve 10yr paper and if you want 80 then you have to study your cource material and pasts year question paper also...solve of all test papers is too much hardship , instead try to random solve gradually 2 paper per subject, then next 2 paper per subject
