Grounds for divorce are cruelty, desertion, sexual reltion of wife with other during marriage, mental disorder of wife so as to endanger life of husband, wife is suffering from a virulent andincurable form of leprosy, wife is suffering from venereal disease in acommunicable form, wife has renounced the world by entering any religious order or wife has not been heard of asbeing alive for a period of seven years or more by those persons who would naturally have heard of her. There is no other ground of divorce.
Although, if both parties are ready there can be mutual consent divorce.
