don't think your self as a clever one, her husband must engaged any lawyer to make delay this case for years, and till then you can't do remarriage any where if your case is considering,
let me know in which court case is considering, either in civil or in family court.
tell me who put case first it is done by your side, on him, you know well as per our constitution never go with single side, he may allow to other person to prove this blame putting by you is true or it is fake, and he can make a way by some brilliant lawyer, so don't think it is in your favor totally, the court may give him chance to explain , he could make pretended excuse with his statement by his lawyer, i don't want to depressed in any way but i am telling the fact what it could be possible in court,
so let this decide by the court what punishment provision should be in this manner to him, as per law, it depend on his statement and arguments,
if you prove that he demand for dowry or her character he may be jailed for seven years but it is not sure, we can't decide it our self it all depend by the court.
if you prove then he will be punished by the court not by our decision.
