i have filed mutual divorce. Court has set final hearing aftr 6 mths. Can I ALONE postpone the hearing date? what is the procedure and documents needed? Thx  

no you can't do it alone the second party response is necessary in this case.

well have you gone for marriage counselling. if no please do so. the court will postpone the date if your lawyer gives a reason to do so. consult your lawyer, it is better to have two different lawyer even if you get divorce through mutual consent.

In a mutual assent divorce the Court will be please to enhence the date.The Court always want more time to pass before the final annulement.It gives the couple a chance to reconcile.
