This is the difference between optimism & pessimism...what u are talking about seems to be a pessimistic view...life is beautiful also..it's all upto you how u interpret the situations & how well u r to gel along with them.....
Further there is no such thing like worst or best when it comes to philosphical topics...u may appreciate that you are placed in a condition superior to many others who might not be able to secure two times meal a day...might not be having a shelter & so on....but still they live...If u check this u will that worst is still not there....however it's a human tendency to look to others superior to him causing depression...if somebody do so for motivation it's good but when it comes to comparison its pathetic.....

Hi! venom.you are asking that why does life looks worst when it is bad and it looks good when it is actually great.actually there are two ways to answer this question,the first one being we actually expect too much without attempting to do the best,and the second one is that we want to improvise ourselves day-by-day.that's why we take it pessimistically to achieve the best.This actually depends on the mindset of the person.

Hi Venom,
Due to some strange reasons some of use try to be very skeptical about the things. It becomes as if we are struggling to survive and whatever great is happening to us in our lives is a miracle and is totally by chance. may be the hardships of the life makes us like that so that are not able to appreciate the great moments of our lives.
Thus we tend to apostrophize the negative things and tend to minimize the positive ones. Thats probably the bad becomes the worst and the best struggles to be the good.
if we could be more accepting of the things we could improve that.

when it looks like worst it is not that it is really bad. but when it is best, it is not really good after all it is really really bad

Yes to few.You can not generalise.People with depression may not laugh or smile on topic on which any normal person may smile atleast.The basis of depression means feeling low and its a medical condition in which one feels very sad and anxious.Visualise the situation,here at least the best does not appear to be worst,it simply appears good.It is a matter of mood and temperament one is in.Put a red spec on your eyes and whole world will appear red to you .though it is not so.If temperament and mood is high even worst will appear good if not best.It is basically your vision and the way you view things.
