the best way to prepare for your board exams is to make sure you solve all the previous years question papers (within the time limit) and after that get them checked by your teacher or maybe a senior in that field.
This will not only build your confidence, but you will identify the areas in which you are weak so that you can concentrate on them more. Many times it happens that you know the answer to a particular question but you are not able to express it at the time of the exam. This problem can be addressed by this method.
Also another important factor that most people miss is that your presentation skills count in the exam paper. Remember that the examiner has to check 100s of papers and you should present your answer in a nice and precise manner with proper margins, good handwriting, etc. Answer point-wise wherever possible..
