I think no one can do it scientifically and be close to how the market behaves. Markets move and shake based on sentiments. It behaves in a bizarre kind of way. Bottomlines and business cycles don't hold any logic for the market. It is worse than gambling. The sane is advice is you should not attempt to time the market. Stay invested for a longer period and that is the only way one can make wealth from the stock market.
