Never excepted Spain will win but I expected that Croatia will take away this year European Championship. In sport what is required is consistence, skill, form, play like unit and grab opportunities what ever come during the playing time. All the skills were with Spain team and truly deserve to be the champions of EURO 2008 cup....

Well, truthfully speaking vanmathi.m, not at all. Looking at their past performances and also considering the fact that they had a history of choking at the last juncture, no not at all.

But, in this final they were able to do what legends are made of, they unified after a long time as a team in a final and performed so well that they surprised not just their opponent but also their most ardent supporter too. Something which was too pleasing to watch.
