Dhoni is doing a good job as a captain in ODI's and T-20 so is Kumble in Test so I don't see any change required as of now for Test captaincy.

Talking about A.Kumble he is handling the matches in test quite well as we saw in the recent two tour India toured on first a successful Australian tour and another recently ended last month of Sri Lanka. In both the tours A.Kumble was quite a steady mind captain, in Australia we had the win after 30 odd years so its a big achievement after winning the world cups.

Although in Sri Lanka we lost the series by 2-1 still the games was played good only the problem remaind that the senior players didn't struck form which lead to trouble in middle orders.

About Dhoni, being a good level headed person makes him the choice of a leader.

Beside he has a very good static’s with him which are very fruitful for the team. He is a natural leader and with him leading the side one can be sure he will be there for long time as he is still young and has a long time ahead.

His winning tournaments has been the proofs of how fruitful captain he is, the two big series one the ICC T-20 world cup which we won under his captaincy, and the other the series win over Australia in Australia were two major wins which he has handled really well and makes him the perfect captain.

Anil Kumble is a better captain by all standards, experience, expertise, maturity, friendliness etc. But Dhoni is right now riding his luck. Maybe India wins if dhoni is made test captain and lady luck smiles on him once again.

Dhoni will now doing a great job for india regularly he is not only a good player but also a good captain & he is good wicket-keeper of india........

at first dhoni become captain of indian team in T-20 world and india won the T-20 world cup ........after then Dhoni choosen for one day captainship &he do very well in one day captainship also ........in his captainship india won triangular series in australia.........

so he is a good captain but kumble is also a good captain of india ......

he have about 15 year experience in test cricket & highest wicket taker in indian bowlers he took above 500 wicket in test.....
but when we compare both i think now anil kumble remain the captain of india in test because test matches require more experience then one day matches test matches are of five days while one day are only of 1 day ........

so Anil Kumle should remain the test captain of india...........

you can never say that unless you see the performance test captaincy requires different level of understanding as it is played for 5 days so you need to maintain your focus when you are a captain in all dept so he will be a good captain in test arena also but we should give him some time and anil kumble is doing a good job right now ,just senior player have to come good

YES, HE WILL BE BETTER CAPTAIN THEN KUMBLE BCZ HE IS AGGRESSIVE THINKER, AND BETTER BATSMEN TO LEAD FROM FRONT.

Yes Dhoni has shown that in T20 and One day matches. so on the performance of recent matches i must say that Dhoni is the best Captain ever India produced after Kapil Dev and he is better than Anil

Hi Deabsis it is 100% true that Dhoni is a better captain than Kumble and he should replace Anil for the betterment of team.Kumble is a greatest fighter in the game no doubt but he is not a thinking captain like Dhoni ,he has no tactical sense and Kumble looses cool many times even when he is hit for four or six but Dhoni always remains calm,that's a positive character in a captain.
