It is IPL which has made a lot of money. But is a matter of pooling of resources and then dividing. The chief organizer makes the most of it. But then, everyone including the franchise owners and the players get their due.

My friend the people who would be entertained would be the general public all over the world. Well, that's the general idea.

While, the profitability would be for the organizers and the owners of the team. As, they are the one who are having their economic and monetary interest attached to this game.

If you are asking about entertainment then public will be entertained by the IPL with its glamour,destructive cricket in short timing and if you will ask profit then it is obvious cricketer and BCCI will book profit and finally IPL owner may earn some profit.
