Pakistan's Hasan Raza, the youngest ever to play Test cricket, made his debut against Zimbabwe at Faisalabad on 24th Oct 1996. Raza was all of 14 years and 227 days on his first day in the office.
Hasan Raza was born on 11th March 1982 in Karachi, Sind, Pakistan. He is a Right-hand batsman & Right-arm off-break Bowler. He had played only in 7 test matches and scored at an average of 26.11 runs and played in 16 One day International with an average of 18.61 runs. His highest score in test matches is 68 while in One Day it is 77.
But he had a good record in the domestic cricket. He had 156 first classes matches in which he scored at an average of 50.52 runs and got his highest 256 runs.
Hasan had always been a profilic run scorer in Pakistan's domestic cricket but had always been over looked by selectors because he could not translate his domestic success to the international stage. Frustrated with the PCB Hasan made a decision that has seemingly ended all hopes of his return to international cricket as he joined the unofficial Indian Cricket League (ICL). In his first season with the ICL he was the leading run scorer. Currently he is not allowed to play domestic cricket in Pakistan.
