He tooks 502 wickets in One day International Matches. This is the highest of ODI Matches. He was left arm fast-medium bowler. His best bowling 5wickets for 15 runs (5/15). His bowling average 23.52. He got 4 wickets in 17 times. He got 5 wickets in 6 times. He was a trick bowler. When he appeals lbw it must be a wicket. He bowls atleast one yorker bowl in every over. He is a great prize of cricket.

Well Saurabh, ODI since its inception had been home to numerous records which have continuosly been broken by constant innovation and better performances. But, most of that instances had been in Batting, where rules are being modified to load the match in their favor. And under this circumstances only very few players had been able to make a constant mark and all of them have been exceptional talents.

Out of these players the best and most fearsome and effective had been Wasim Akram. He holds the records of taking most number of wickets in ODI career. And scalped 502 wickets in record 356 matches. That included a best bowling figure of 5/15 and 88 catches. And in this record has also been his contribution to the Pakistan's lone World Cup Final win in 1992 under Imran Khan.
