S.Tendulkar by scoring 186 not out against Sri – Lanka in the makes him the best score for any individual in ODi’s for indians. It was just a matter of some more balls and Sachin wound have beaten the record of S.Anwar by scoring past his score of 194 which was against India.

He holds the highest Test batting average (59.06) of any Pakistani against Australia in Test matches. He has 20 hundreds in one day internationals as he retired very early in 2003 against Zimbabwe.

Other players have scored good amount of runs like India’s present coach G.Kirsten the record for highest innings by a South African in a one-day international; 188 not-out made against the United Arab Emirates during the 1996 World Cup, which is the fourth highest innings of all time in One-Day International cricket First by Pakistan’s S.Anwar 194 against India.

pakistan's opener saeed anwar has record of holding highest odi score in single match i.e. 194 against our team India.

He was scoring like there was no fielder in the ground as if sachin tendulkar captain of that match told them to have a bath or any other to the fielders and it was he only who got him out .

He had a chance to reach the milestone 200 first time in an odi but our only fielder was apna saurav dada caught him and that too a very high catch.

let's see who breaks this record, in my opinion Virender sehwag can break this record cause he plays very fast plus he has consistency also and besides him there is yuvraj singh, Kevin peterson, Greame smith, sanath jayasuriya, mathew hayden, ricky pointing and offcourse our new captain MAHENDRA SINGH DHONI

Saeed Anwar of pakistan made 194 against India which is the highest individual score till today.He did it in venue Chennai on 21-May-97
He achieved it in 146 balls in which he hit 22 fours and five sixes in the innings.his strike rate was 132.87

Saeed Anwar has 194 runs against india in chennai. That is greatest record of his cricket career. No one cann't beat his record because that is not a small record. When he played the game he had purchased bat from chennai shop and then he played well and he got highest individual score in ODI cricket.

Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar is the Highest individual scorer of all ODI. He has above 11,000runs in ODI cricket. Include 42 centuries, 83 fifties. He is a boon of india. No one cann't beat his record. Because he entered in early his 16 age. He has lot of batting technicques. No exclaim about him because he has good consentration power, timing play, idea game, technical and classical shots.

The highest individual score was on the name of Saeed Anwar of Pakistan who hold the record for 194 runs againest india at Chennai in 1996-97.

Previously Viv. Richard had 189* againest England during 1984. Followed by Sanath Jayasurya - 189, Gary Cristen-188.

The Highest Runs by an Indian belongs to Sachin Tendulkar who has scored 186 runs againest Newzealand at Hyderabad during 1999-2000.

Till now 8 batsman has scored more then 180 runs in a single innings.
