Who is fit for the captainacy in Indian Cricket Team?  

I feel Dhoni is doing good job in ODI's and in test Kumble is fine but after Kumble's retirement, I feel Rohit Sharma or V Shewag will be a better choice for captaincy.

Among the available players Dhoni is a better choice. But he lacks the courage, conviction and talent to change bowlers in time unlike Ganguly. But he may learn, for he knows others are in waiting.

Now in India there are so many Wicket-keeping batsman who are doing well in domestic as well as interanational level (like IPL). Sribats Goswami, Parthiv Patel, Dinesh Karthick are the players knocking to find a place in the Indian Squad. MS Dhoni's place is not cemented in the team. So after Kumble, BCCI should depute someone who can be a permanent member in all forms of Cricket. I can suggest few names like Gautam Gambhir, Yuvraj Singh or Virendra Sehwag. Then the form matters the most.

Dhoni is doing a great job. He can handle the Test team also but they have kept him out of that job for the present, because he may not want to have Dravid, Ganguly and Laxman in his team. Kumble will lead the Test team until these three announce their retirement.

I believe that M.S Dhoni is the suitable captain for T20 and ODI while Kumble makes best captain for Test matches. Senior players like Sehwag, Tendulkar can also be tried out but the existing captains are doing their jobs well.

M.Dhoni is doing a fine job Rashmi.
Why would we want to keep changing the captains at every failure of a particular match. We should also keep in mind that India is playing too much of cricket lately with hardly any room for rest. Dhoni is doing a fin nominal job with his cool head as a captain.
