I like C.Gayle more than M.Hayden as Gayle is a player who will dominate any given game with sheer power shots as he doesn’t like to run to many runs.

His style of playing is power hitting a more like stand and deliver shot where he doesn’t need to run much when he plays. Also about C.Gayle is that he enjoys his cricket very much but doesn’t celebrate it in a loud way, we have seen him scoring a 100 or taking a wicket but he won’t get happy or show he is glad he just gives smile or raises his bat with a small smile.

M.Hayden is more like a slow starter and good finisher as he grows his innings with very slow start as he leaves the early balls away from stumps alone. He builds his innings slowly and gradually but when he is set he becomes a difficult batsman to get out.

if u r concern with hitting abilities then it is cris gayle, and hitting with consistancy then it is Hayden!! but according to me i enjoy cris gayle's batting..

From my point of view every batsmen has different way of playing and different techniques.
Both the Chris Gyale and Mathew Hayden has different statistics but hayden is more energetic,enthuthiasticand more approachable, and has the quality to play big shots

Both are explodive batsmen but I would rate Matthew Hayden better than Chris Gayle simple because Matthew Hayden is much more consistent that Chris Gayle.
Hayden has a unique style and he has succeeded not only at home but also overseas in all conditions
