Bradman's museum is the most significant of these legacy projects, which was opened in 1987 at the Bradman Oval in Bowral.
This organization was reformed in 1993 as a non-profit charitable Trust, called the Bradman Foundation.

Bradman's life and achievements were recognized in Australia with two notable issues. Three years before he died, he became the first living Australian to be featured on an Australian postage stamp. After his death, the Australian Government produced a 20 cent coin to commemorate his life.

On his 90th birthday, he hosted a meeting with his two favorite modern players, Shane Warne and Sachin Tendulkar, but he was not seen in his familiar place at the Adelaide Oval again.

Hospitalized with pneumonia in December 2000, he returned home in the New Year and died there on 25 February 2001, aged 92. Sir Don will always be remembered as the most magnificent player of all times in Test cricket.

It is situated in St. Judes street in Bowral, Australia the hometown of Don. The Bradman Museum takes the visitor on a fantastic journey, reliving great moments with rare film footage, photos and wonderful memorabilia.

Bradman Museum comprises of five major exhibition galleries, hundred-seat theatre, plus a second theatre, library, children's area, souvenir, gift shop and Stumps Tea Room. Daily screenings in the theatre highlight cricket newsreel footage from the first half of the twentieth century followed by an expose on Bodyline.

The Bradman Museum is open 7 days a week (except Christmas Day), from 10.00 am to 5.00 pm and is situated in St. Jude Street, Bowral NSW 2576. Contact: (02) 48 62 1247.

The Bradman Foundation Bowral, Australia, owns and operates the Bradman Museum of Cricket and manages Bradman Oval where the young Don Bradman first learned to play the game.

In 2001 the ashes of Sir Donald and Lady Bradman were scattered on and around the oval in accordance with the final wish of Sir Donald.

The Bradman Museum of Cricket, incorporating Bradman Oval, is the 'Spiritual Home of Cricket'.

The Museum is located on Glebe Park adjacent to Bradman Oval.
