It was created as a memento to the great player showcasing not just his achievements but as a a living centre of cricket, documenting the history of Australian cricket, paying tribute to past cricketers and providing inspiration for the future of the game.
It is situated in St. Judes street in Bowral, Australia the hometown of Don. The Bradman Museum takes the visitor on a fantastic journey, reliving great moments with rare film footage, photos and wonderful memorabilia.
Bradman Museum comprises of five major exhibition galleries, hundred-seat theatre, plus a second theatre, library, children's area, souvenir, gift shop and Stumps Tea Room. Daily screenings in the theatre highlight cricket newsreel footage from the first half of the twentieth century followed by an expose on Bodyline.
