Well Richa, IPL or Indian Premier League the new format of cricket that introduced the club cricket in contention of the National cricket played generally, in a new and more glamorous way and created a kind of frenzy like never seen before.

This new event which was started as a result of the response to petty politics but turned out a real blessing in disguise, was started on 18 April 2008, and ended on 1 June 2008 .

While, the exact dates of the next years installment are yet to announced but as per media reports and information coming out from inside sources would be from April 10th, 2009 to May 29th, 2009. While the window alloted to teams for the exchange of players would open in February.

The next IPL will start in the next year that is 2009 in the month of April tentatively...Dates might be change if the IPL committee wants to change.

Richa, The next Ipl IPL will start next year at the same time in April till June.
As this years was slated in the same month.

After this years success even more English player are going to take the invite and give their time to IPL. As big money is shelled out to players, More importantly the timing of IPL will be at the time when there will be no international matches played so every nation can be included.

More players are going to be included this time as the event will be even bigger than this years.
