With Diamond duck there are many other duck terms which are sued I am mentioning all of them so that all the readers get the knowledge of other terms.
Diamond Duck – It is a term which is used for a player who is out without facing any ball in all probability a run out is the only way where a player can be out without facing any ball.
Golden Duck – It is a term which is used for a player who is dismissed by the first ball they face of their any particular innings whether ODI or Test match.
Platinum Duck – It is a term which is used for a batsmen who is out on the very first ball of the match so if a player is out on the very first ball of the match he is termed Platinum as well as Golden Duck.
Silver Duck – It is a term which is used for players who get out on the second ball they face in any particular innings.
Pair Duck – It is a term which is used for a player who gets out for duck in both the innings by any means.
King Duck – it is a term which is used for a player who gets out on the very first ball in both the innings of a Test match.
Al these terms eventually are used for only one main purpose in cricket that is for ‘0’ runs as the player got out without scoring a run. All these different types of ducks in cricketing terms which makes it a bit more exciting for the viewers and cricket lover keep the spectators and audience watching at homes a bit more knowledge about cricket.
