Mankading occurs when a bowler runs out the non-striker who’s obviously out of his crease at the bowling end before delivering the ball. Yeah... Kapil Dev has done this...

Bill Brown by Vinoo Mankad, Australia v India, Sydney, 1947-48 was the first incedent.Since then the Laws of cricket have changed, so that a bowler may no longer Mankad a batsman once he has entered for that stride and ends when the front foot lands in the same stride....]In indoor cricket Mankading is still permitted. When this happens the batsman is actually given out mankad rather than run out.

Hi Vishal,Virender Sehwag is one of the big success stories in Indian cricket. Not because the Nawab of Najafgarh became the first Indian to score a triple hundred in Test cricket. Nor for his second triple century that he scored against South Africa in Chennai in 2008.It is simply because Sehwag is one of the few Indian middle-order batsmen to succeed as an opener in Test cricket &226; the other one
