I think the seniors must see the writing on the wall and gracefully exit the scene instead of provoking Dhoni to say things that do not sound very pleasant. After all, the seniors won't be around when the next world cup takes place in 2011. And Dhoni's boys have delivered results, whether it was the 20-20 world cup or the recent triangular tournament in Australia. A lot of what appears as Dhoni having said is also words put into Dhoni's mouth by the media! Lets forget it and hope and pray that the seniors make it easier for Dhoni by quitting on their own terms soon before being told to stand down by BCCI's selectors.

f he is talking about 20-20 then i think he is right because indian team won the world cup without the old players. but in one day international or test matches we really need experienced players.

In Bengali 'dhoni' means sound.I feel Dhoni sounds too much.His initial success as skipper has to be seen in terms of consistency in the long run.He is still 'bachha' in cricket.

Since he is not a senior player, he prefers to support youngsters. He could have handled this subject smartly. Sine the selectors have faith in youth, he wants to support them by saying that he is interested in youth. In future ODI games also, now it has become difficult for the seniors to be a member of the team. The selectors have to provide them with chances at least to announce their retirement from the ODI games. They should not be ignored in this way.
