Well Harish, it is a fact in sports and other fields that records are meant to be broken and its the the legend that continue to live on. Thus, for many years Federer has been the player who has been a totally a class apart from rest of the playing field, the way he played for so long it looked like a totally different level and game.
Uptill, now in the history most champion players had ruled the court in different eras, but almost all had one or two shots that were unplayable, or the on called sure point shots. And, most were either good with their front hand or backhand, with the other better than average. But, this player has a whole barrage of shots that opposition finds unplayable, and his prowess in front hand, backhand, on the net, away from net is what makes him different and better than the rest in my opinion.
The way he plays it looks like an artist making his masterpiece, his play has precision and amazing quality to it not found forced nature of men's play.
And, even though in my opinion his record just might break, but under no circumstances would his legend could be foreshadowed. The way he has ruled the court it was a honor in just watching him play.
