I am sorry I did not expected Suresh Raina will win the man of the match but expected Gautham Gambhir but India lost the finals and Sri Lanka won in style ....

Yes my friend, had India won the match then definitely it would have been Suresh Raina that would have bagged the Man of the Match award, looking at his performance in the league matches.
But, his amazing run of form along with the rest of the Indian batsman came up totally dry in the final. Against the surprise package Mendis Indians on a high of their previous good performance failed to give due respect to good performance by the opposition. And in return failed miserably.

In all probabality the answer to your question is YES. But cricket is a funny game, on a given day Irfan Pathan can take 3 wickets and crack a quck-fire 40 runs which can get him the man of the match award. The same way our captain is also is a strong contender.

Yes, it can be Suresh Raina as he is in great form but players like Yuvraj Singh, Dhoni, Sehwag and Gambhir can also be match winners for India. It’s all coming out to barsmen game all together so one can hardly feel anything special f or the bowlers. If a bowler delivers anything consequential then he might be big surprise for INDIA in the finals. Bowlers like Ishaant Sharma, Gony, RP singh and Ojha have to perform brilliantly in the finals. If they bowl extremely well, either through their economy rates or wickets taking hauls, then they can be first choices to win the coveted “Man of the Match” award.

suresh raina has to thanks of the ipl coz if he is not performing in the ipl he will not selected thats why suresh has to thank lalit modi fro that.

Santosh, If India wins the Asia Cup then Suresh Raina surely will get the man of the series award as compared to others he has scored many many runs just behind him is Sri lankan K.Sangakara who has scored pretty well of 321 runs but if, India win the cup then definitely S.Raina seem the one who will bag the man of series award.
