This T20 game is not the replacement for the traditional ODI world cup. ICC is just trying to create more interest towards cricket, by conducting this T20 game. Their idea is to make other sportslovers to watch this game and that is the reason the format has been designed for three hours. Generally, hockey and football take about the same time and this twenty twenty game also takes the same time. But, this T20 game is onesided affair and it should not be conducted very often. If this type of game continues in future, the traditional ODI game will be spoiled. Further, it will be very hard to find a good bowler. In this T20 game, the bowlers suffer a lot. They lost control over their bowling, since, wicket taking balls are also hit for runs. Batsmen are at full liberty to hit the ball with regular, irregular and ackward shots to score runs. It is difficult to predict in which direction the ball would go. All the shots will produce runs. Great bowlers are not interested in this game, since they know that is not the game for them. Surely, it will affect the traditional one day games, if this game is conducted very often. The bowlers will lose their mental strength.
