For Indian Cricket, Experience alone is needed for Test Matches whereas in ODIs a mixture of Experience and Youth are needed. Whereas,in Australia,for Tests as well as ODIs they use mainly Experienced players. Just one or two youngsters may be taken for Tests as well as ODIs.

Experience Or Youth is a term that is being coined by media to improve their TRP.
In reality its Experience and Youth is what the team India require, as without the energy of youths this Indian Ship cant progress, while without the guidance of experience it wont move in right direction
