Yes,Dhoni has done right in resting Senior Players - Dravid and Ganguly - for the CB series in Australia. Both Dravid and Ganguly needed rest for the Tests with South Africa.

The seniors including Sachin will not be available for the next world cup. So, Dhoni is right in resting the seniors for the ODIs now. He is building a team for the future and the seniors have no place in it. They also know that. It is a matter of time before they decided to call it quits.

I think it will not be Dhoni's personal opinion. He wants to be safe since the selectors have faith in youth, rather with experience. His desire will be to play with youth, since it will be convenient for him to handle. In test cricket, he will have to play with seniors and he will play with seniors with respect.

i think where dhoni stands he is absolutely rite with the seniors coz the time is come to give the chance to the young blood.
