in the indian cricket team....hmmm.... not as good a bowler as one expects to play in international arena... but still he can prove evry1 worng by his performances... lacks the pace that is needed in modern day bowler should focus mainly on his body language,pace and outswingers...see as a new comer he made a good presense in the international cricket, but rating him now is not appropriate. i think he is very good

No doubt, senior players like ganguly, dravid, kumble, laxman has done a tremendous contribution to Indian cricket and now also then young cricketors will only play for the country. tour. i would rate him 6 out of 10...Irfan Pathan is an all rounder. He is a little less than regular batsmen and little less than bowlers but a composite cricketer who contributes in a total way, just, with experience he can do better in both the aspects he can be assumed as a future all rounder but now he should be in the team as a bowler....Irfan Pathan is a great find for Indian cricket when Indian team
