20-20 cricket is so much more exciting, will it replace ODI cricket in popularity? What will happen to Test cricket in that case? ____  

IT might be replace ODI matches coz after the 20-20 world cup,everybody is more interested in 20-20...that is coz of short time(i.e.only 3hrs),and most imp.the exitement.

Looking at the way current trends are going I think it just might replace ODI. As for test as it has survived the ODI test I think it would survive even the T20 threat.

T-20 cricket is very very excitement but one day cricket all so to excitement ,for me and test is the real cricket for me.and all cricket players toooooooooo.

yes its true but if we forget the basics.. so what future appear is knowledge less.. we have a ex. like the man Gautam Gambhir who have excellent performance in 20-20 but in test.. u know the results..

Yes you are absolutely right that 20Twenty type of cricket is full of excitement and masti but no one can replace One day cricket and Test cricket as they were the ones which came first and made their mark in Cricket. It all started with ODI's and test only how can anybody replace them.Yes 20Twenty has its own place in cricket and we love this new form of the game but replacing Test and ODI's no ways.

T2o cricket will not replace ODI and nor will it effect the Test cricket, as each and every format has its own effects on the game.

i think in future 20 -20 format will be more popular with more countries joining it .but with this one and test will be played also .as India is doing they have near about 24 players in reserve.so these format will also run .but future of these will depend on the no of spectators.

20-20 cricket is new format of cricket and it is added to one day & test cricket. Test cricket will be alive but the number of matches will be less played. The test matches these days becoming interesting, simple because the decrease of boring draw matches. More matches results are decided these days. That is why the crowds are attracted to test cricket as well...

20-20 eventhough is more exciting it can'e replace the ODI as ODI is more of skills and techniques rather than hitting the bowl and waving the bat on every ball, ODI will never get replaced by T20 format as both have thier own word cup meets and this things itself suggest that both will coexist... test cricket if u have watched the recent 2 test matches between Pak and India, than u would have found the test match exciting, the knocks by Misbah in crunch situation is good and delighted one to be watched and the fighting spirit make the test match exciting and the huge gathering in the ground itself proves that test cricket is still alive and kicking, and people like it.
