some memory is used in windows processes which runs in background and some memory is used in system volume information which is used in system restoring

Many computers face the 128 gig limit. Most mother board manufacturers have updated their bios so larger drives can be used. Go to your mother boards mfgrs web site ( or your computer mfgrs web site) and down load the latest bios then according to their instructions flash your bios When you reboot your hard drives capacity will be recognized
