Why am I unable to open opera web browser?  

It could be a DLL problem , I would advise to uninstall the program completely from the computer using the add and remove program then search the HD for any remaining files. Then try to download it again and install it properly.It should work.

There must be some virus and thtas why its not opening the source file which may be affected may have being deleted by antivirus. Opera browser are most likely prone to virus and it is affected easily. You may prefer mozilla,netscape or avant instead of using opera. If u want opera reinstall it or download it and install it again.

there may be two reasons 1. either because it is corrupted, this may happen as if u have visited some malacious site they stored some cookies in ur comp which sometimes create problem ... got to the folder where u have installed this and try to navigate to the cookie folder and remove all the cookies and try to launch opera if it works than its good ... this is my practical experince with mozzila, my comp suddenly shut downs when i work in mozzila browser but after removing the coolies it is working properlly, if this doesnt work then 2nd possiblity is that 2. there must be some files missing to start the application, uninstall Opera and reinstall it with proper working Opera software.

after instaling opera web browser please set the internet properties and internet connection in the opera browser.

you are not installing software properly or can be any other reason. Try again. first uninstall and reinstall software can be install.

This is because of many reasons. You might not have install the software properly that might me one reason if that is true then uninstall and reinstall the opera browser again...Even if some of the files missing then also the browser will not open properly.. I would have given u very good answer if u tell me the question in more detail manner..any queries leave a blurb...I will help you out..

well try reinstalling it..if that doesn't work then there must be something thats conflicting with the application check ur task manager to see if the browser is still running in the background (press ctrl+alt+esc and look for opera.exe in the processes tab..if its running and u can't see it right-click and say end process tree..then try launching it again)

hey ,first tell me whole procedure that you did to install and tell me about firewell property.If you are facing problem even after uninstalling and then installing .Then download other version or again dowmload and try to install.It should run.
