Well there is an IT boom happening all around the world and there is a large demand of fresh talents in the market especially in India. BCA is a good course to start your career with but i would strongly recommend you to go for MCA after completing BCA.Because that will put you in the same threshold as B.Tech. And of course you can expect huge salary!

BCA always has a good scope but if you do MCA then you will also have scope + good earning and i think after 4 years BCA will be widely opted as the people who are working in jobs who have done are earning 60k per month and also a friend of mine is working in SAP who has done BCA earns 80k per month.

BCA has a lot of scope now .If you do BCA you will get admission directly into 2nd year of MCA .It is suggested that you do MCA after BCA ,its better to do it .The scope even increases then.

BCA is a new course, earlier there was only MCA after graduation. However, it has turned out to b quite popular. But in case you are trying for Europe or US, then Masters pays u well!

The scope is great till now. More and more organisations, Institutions, Private and public sector etc. getting computerised and automated.So there is more requirements of computer graduate and specialists.This trend will increase till 2011 I think so.

Hey every computer related field has a broad scope in India and in foriegn too.....this is the only field that is boooming in market from many years and no chance of falling......If u want a better Salary try to apply in Gulf countries u will get there job easily and very good salary ...nearly double from indians....
