What is the difference between File - Close and File - Exit Option?  

well kash, The difference between File close and File exit option are given below-
File-Close - close a document (file or simialar) in a program
File-Exit - Close a program or application

Example:
When you close a messenger, the main window of the messenger dissapears, but the icon sits on your taskbar. But when you 'exit' the application/ messenger, the application program is terminated.. Once you exit, you wil have to re-login or re-open the program if you want to use it

Well the difference is simple.

Close a file means close a opened MS Word file or document.

Exit means to exit / close Ms Word.

To close a document / file , click its close box in the upper right of the title bar (box with the large X on it) or select Close from the File menu. The keyboard shortcut is <Ctrl + W>.

To close Ms word , simply click File And than Exit.

The verb to close is the opposite of the verb to open. It is most commonly used in the context of ceasing to operate (something) or causing (something) to stop operating.
On the other hand, the verb to exit is synonymous with the verbs to move out, to vacate and to depart (from a place).

To exit Word:
1. Click File.
2. Click Exit, which can be found at the bottom of the drop-down menu.
3.If you have entered text,specify the correct folder in the Save In box.
4.Name your file by typing filename.doc in the File Name field and Click Save.

The File - Close option closes only the document while File - Exit Option takes you out of Microsoft Word.

file close - it close the particular file if ur opened several files.

file exit - all the files are closed.
