well amit,
Vista is a new and good full functional windows with effective firewall, so many u don't need any antivirus software, u just need some cautions to prevent ur computer from virus.
like don't click on any error relating to antivirus scan or don't download any unauthorized software/application or any ActiveX like; Video ActiveX.
or don't open any pen drive/USB drive into ur computers which u think have viruses.
or if anytime u think or u find some sense that somebody hacking ur computer so for preventing this just shutdown ur computers fully for some time, because when ur computer shutdown then nobody can use or hack anything remotely.
well if u want any antivirus then u can use Panda antivirus or AVG free antivirus basic edition.
