well, Mozilla Firefox, is quite easy to use, and offers a wide variety of options. To use it though, you'll need to make sure you can successfully connect to the Internet using Mozilla Firefox. While this does involve a little configuring, and settings tweaking, don't be worried, as it is really quite easy to do.
First, open up Mozilla Firefox, and see if you can surf the Internet with it. If you can, then don't worry about changing your internet settings-you are good to go with Firefox! If you are getting a 'Cannot connect' or 'Page not found' error, you may have to configure your internet settings in Firefox.
To change your internet settings in Mozilla Firefox, first look on the top of your screen, and click 'Tools.' Then, click 'Options' at the bottom of the selections. A popup box will appear in Firefox, and you should see several different tabs, labeled Main, Content, Tabs, Advanced, Privacy, etc. Click on the 'Advanced' tab, and then click on the sub-tab, 'Network' (you'll see network, general, encryption, and update all listed as subtabs). On the 'Network' tab, you'll see a Connection setting area, and you need to click on the 'Settings' button. Finally, here you can select and change how Firefox connects to the Internet.
You can select from Direct Connection (Generally, if you are plugged straight into the Internet, without a router, etc), Auto Detect Proxy Settings (This is often the best choice if you aren't sure how your computer connects to the internet), Manual Proxy connection (if you are behind a proxy that you know the connection settings for, like at a University), and, lastly, Automatic proxy configuration URL. If you are behind a router, and aren't sure what to put in, try Auto Detect Proxy Settings-this will find your settings, and connect you to the Internet in most cases.
