1)The unlock kit you downloaded contains 4 folders; GOT, RSD, DRIVERS, and BONUS. Double click the "drivers" folder, copy all the files (don't copy the DriversExtra folder) and paste them to "C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers". Overwrite if it asks.
*
Double click the RSD folder and run "RSD Lite 3.3.msi" to install RSD 3.3. (refer to end of document if program doesn't install)
*
After it's installed, run "RSD Lite" and keep it open (Important for complete driver installation)
*
With the data cable connected to your pc, power on your phone and connect it to the data cable. (Note that the data cable must be connected to the PC USB port and not to a USB hub).
*
Once the phone is connected, your PC should detect the drivers. A "Found new hardware" box will appear. Chose the second checkbox "Install from a list or specific location" and click NEXT. (Note: If the "Found new hardware" box doesn't appear, go to RSD Lite and press on the "Show Device" button. That should bring it up).
*
On the following screen make sure the "Search for the best driver in these locations" and "Include this location for search" is all that's checked. Then browse manually to C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers. Click NEXT and the drivers will be installed. Click FINISH
*
When installation is complete disconnect the cell from the cable and power OFF the cell.
*
Put the phone in Flash Mode by holding * # and the Power Button. Once in flash mode connect the phone to your cable again. The remaining drivers will be installed.
*
Installation is Complete. Close RSD Lite and run it again. Your phone should be listed. Click on it once and then click on "Show Device". Your phones data should be displayed. We can now move to the unlock step.
NOTE: If your phone isn't detected in RSD Lite, you may need additional drivers. So do the following:
*
Exit RSD Lite
*
In the driver's folder, you will find a folder called "DriversExtra". Go into that folder and run the file drivertool.exe. It will clean/remove the old phone drivers
*
Go into the "Alternate Drivers" folder, copy all the files, and paste them into C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers
*
Repeat the Installing RSD/Drivers procedure, but SKIP THE FIRST STEP (1). We don't need to install the drivers as it mentions in the first step, as we just did that
Unlocking your phone with "GOT"
IMPORTANT NOTES BEFORE RUNNING "GOT"
*
Your unlock account will be valid for 24 hours from the moment you enter your username and password and get access to the server. So don't connect to the server until you have installed and tested your phone drivers. Once you start using GOT, you need to be ready to carry out the unlock procedure, as you wont be given a 2nd account for free if your account expires.
*
When you get access to GOT (after entering your username and password), your ip gets locked. Meaning, you can't try running the software on another computer afterwards. Once you are locked, you can only use GOT from that PC you first ran it from. So make sure all drivers installed properly and that RSD runs, as you won't be able to try anything on another PC.
Double click the GOT folder, run GOT_MOTO.exe, and enter the username and password that was emailed to you. The software will authenticate your username and password, and log you in (if it doesn't please contact us).
From the "model" tab in GOT, you should see a "Model/Software Version" pull down menu. Select your phone model with the matching software version.
NOTE: If you don't know EXATCLY which model/software to choose from (for instance,
