Choose Internet Options and you'll get a window with a ton of different choices. Click on the tab along the top labeled Programs and look half-way down:


As you can see here, IE7 already is my default browser, good little Microsoft Windows citizen that I am, but if it wasn't clicking on Make default would solve the problem immediately, or you could just click on "Tell me if Internet Explorer is not the default web browser", click "OK", then quit and restart your browser.

well, The only thing you need to take care is to disable any other Download manager installed in your computer.

After Installing Internet Download Manager , it will automatically take the download files and start downloading.

There should be an option when you first install that software to make the default downloader .
