well, This is a simple process but you must have the cables in the right ports for it to work.
1] Reset the 4200 and leave it alone. Do nothing to it after the reset and just leave it powered on. If you don't know how to reset the 4200 then get the User Guide. Pressing the button too long or just clicking it (too short) will NOT reset the 4200 as it uses a specific procedure outlined in the User Guide.

1. Using the tip of a ballpoint pen or unfolded paperclip, press and hold the Reset button located on the bottom of the router. The pwr LED will blink red once, indicating that the reset has begun.
2. Continue depressing the Reset button for four seconds or until the pwr LED begins to blink alternating red-to-green.
3. Release the Reset button.
Note: If you hold the reset for too long the action is cancelled and you will have to start over.
2] Hook the Ethernet Cable from the single Ethernet LAN port on the 4200 into your Linksys Router's WAN port (you will no long be able to access the 4200 and that is normal). Hook one (for now) PC into the first LAN Ethernet port and turn the Linksys on. You should see the LEDs light up showing a good ethernet cable connection.
3] Open your Browser and type the IP for the Linksys (192.138.1.X or whatever it is) and set it up for PPPoE (not Automatic or DHCP or Static) with your Username and Email Address. Leave all optional settings blank. Use "Always on" as the Connection Type and 0 to restart connection if there is a timer field to fill out.
The Linksys will now get a Public IP on it WAN side and give your PCs Private IPs on it's LAN.
Set your PC to DHCP if they were not already setup that way. Do not use ant PPPoE or Broadband dialing Icons as the will not work/cannot work behind the Linksys Router. Only the Linksys will handle the PPPoE.
