In Windows XP you must create multiple user accounts with passwords.

You must make your user ID a member of the administrators group.

Then you must make all the other user ID's restricted access.

Once this is done, anything in your "My documents" folder will not be visible to the other users.

Be careful, anyone that has administrator access will be able to see anyone else's files or folders regardless if they know the password or not.

well , I am feeling HAPPY to answer your question , I would like to suggest you to access the source site if it's available , for more information.


In Windows XP you must create multiple user accounts with passwords.

You must make your user ID a member of the administrators group.

Then you must make all the other user ID's restricted access.

Once this is done, anything in your "My documents" folder will not be visible to the other users.

Be careful, anyone that has administrator access will be able to see anyone else's files or folders regardless if they know the password or not.
