well , I am feeling HAPPY to answer your question , I would like to suggest you to access the source site if it's available , for more information.

If you are using xp by default you have something called simple file sharing turned on by default. this makes it for those users that don't know how to share things with protection easy for them to just share a file. to get the "classic" sharing just like in 2k this is what you have to do.

1. open up windows explorer
2. go to tools/folder options
3. this pops up the folder options window
4. go to the view tab
5. go to the advance settings scroll box and scroll to the bottom where it says: "Use simple file sharing (Recomended) uncheck this box, and then hit appy and then ok and then you have "classic" file sharing.

go to any file or director you want to right click on it/properties/sharing and you will see it looks like the 2k style of sharing files and directories
