Hi i am using 2 TRANSCEND 512MB DDR2 RAM`s. One with 667Mhz freq and another with 533Mhz freq. Will there be any decrease in the performance because of this?

Definitely there ll be decrease in performance.First try booting with both the RAMs.if both the RAMs are dedected then system be functioning with the frequency of the lesser one..i.e 533 Mhz..

no problem
if ur Mother board supports 667 MHz then it needs 667MHz only but if its 533MHZ then even u put 667MHz it will act as 533MHz so u can use both rams.. as they will acquire different slots...
