well, 1. Expert One-on-One Oracle
Tom Kyte has put together an excellent Oracle reference work. If you work with Oracle DBs, this book deserves a place on your shelf!
2. Oracle Essentials
This great book from O'Reilly and Associates offers a concise introduction to the full range of Oracle9i, Oracle8i and Oracle8's functionality -- something you won't find anywhere else on the shelves of your local bookseller.
3. OCP: Oracle9i Certification Kit
This book from Sybex is meant to be a certification prep guide for OCP candidates, but it also offers an excellent overview of Oracle technology. The major downside -- it comes with a hefty $100+ pricetag.
4. Oracle9i DBA Handbook
This is the official Oracle 9i reference work put out by Oracle Press. You'll find it's 1000+ pages jam-packed with reference information.
5. Oracle 9i New Features
If you're already familiar with Oracle 8i and want to bring your skills up to snuff on the latest version, this concise, inexpensive book may be just the thing you need.
