i hav original cd of windows xp home edition....how to get the serial key coz i hav lost the autthentificaion certificate?????????  

first of all how careless r u, u lost the important serial key of ur windows CD.
well at now check ur windows CD for key,
insert ur XP CD, the open CD and check their any notepad file r their who have serial key or open setup folder and check the key.
if u got then ok otherwise use this.
insert ur XP CD.
open CD.
then open folder named "I386".
then in it open this file named "UNATTEND.TXT"
and in this file at the bottom of this file a product key are written.
or if u use the same windows at ur computer then u can also use some softwares by which u can find the serial key.
