well, There are two ways to block unwanted messages:
1. If you receive multiple messages from the same source and would like to block the sender, you can set up a filter to match some unique part of the sender's address. A name or a phrase in the body of the message may work well, but if the sender always uses the same mailing address, filtering based on the From: field is very effective. Just set the destination folder to trash.
Note: Using filters like this to avoid unwanted mail doesn't actually stop it from being sent. For further information on how to create a filter, see: How do I create a filter?.
2. You can also use the "Block Address" link. If you receive a message from a sender and want to block that sender, follow the directions below:
1. From your inbox, check the box next to the message.
2. Click the "Spam" button at the top of the page.
3. The message will be marked as spam and the sender's email address will be added to your Block List.
If this option is not working, make sure you have enabled this feature in your Spam Protection settings.
To check the settings, click on "Mail Options" and then on "Spam Protection." On the Spam Protection page, make sure "Add the sender's email address to my blocked addresses list" is checked and then click on the "Save Changes" button.
You can create a list of up to 500 addresses from which you would prefer not to receive email.
