.Net is a Framework developed by Microsoft.

and C# and VB.NET are two different programming languages.and both use .net framework. with Visual Studio you can developer windows applications using both these languages.

and ASP.NET is a Technology to develop web applications using C# or VB.NET as the programming login behind the web pages.

and
ADO.NET is a technology for database related operations..

Well .Net ( DotNet) is presently the most widely used platform for software development in MNCs ( Multi /National Companies) along with Java.
.Net can be used for both product developments and Web applications.
Because of its Powerful object oriented programming concepts , it is used extensively in Software field.
