well you can just plug your new hard drive to your computer system and make its slave and leave the other one as master and when you bootup your system again just transfer your data from the older hard drive to the new hardware and you are done

It is pretty simple, just connect your new hard drive to your pc and load the os; check the hard drive in which slot you set it like PRIMARY/ SECONDARY, MASTER and SECONDARY, CHANGE THE JUMPER OF OLD DRIVE; like if the New HD in Primary then Set the Old in Secondary; (detail display on Hard drive sticker). open the my computer you see that all drive display on it; copies your old file to your new hd

you just make your new drive as a secondary drive by jumper setting on HDD, then simply copy the data by copy command.

1st install OS in new HDD, then connect old HDD in the place od cd/dvd drive, then u can do it, or use both HDD's na, it wont be any problem.

simple jst connect it with ide cable inside ur cpu where u will find the cd- rom n hard drive r connected best thing is to connect with 2nd cable, where mostly cd- roms r connected after then on ur pc u will find ur new hard drive in my computer or call me 9322222444

you can transfer with a Jumper cable by arranging the new one in between the current connection of the old hard drive and your computer.
or you can buy your self a hard drive enclosure starting from 500 inr and transfer your data through a USB. need any help let me know.

install the new hard drive as a slave.

so you have both hard drives.

the smaller olde rone can be your windws hard drive and the other larger one can be for all your data.,
then you wont have to move anything.
