Sounds like a puzzle! Hope you did refer to your PC. Try to determine what is the real problem behind your computer's not booting.
- If you can't get any light activity or can't see anything on the monitor, then one of the first things to check is to see if all of the power plugs are plugged in and are turned on. It may seem that this is the most obvious thing to look for. A plug could have been pulled loose. Or even the power cord got damaged. Try plugging a different power cord into the computer. Also make sure the data cables and power cables are connected promptly inside the cabinet. In a majority of cases this would cause the computer not to start at all.
- Apart from this, assure the RAM strips/video card are inserted in the Slots firmly. You may have pop one of these strips loose.
- Even there might be a possibility of SMPS failure (due to power mismatch/device overlaoding). You can identify when you turn on the power and switch on the PC and if the SMPS fan (on the backside of your CPU) isn't rotating, the SMPS might get fried. If this is the case, you need to replace the SMPS unit. Also check the CPU fan isn't failed or look for wire which is hitting the fan blades.
- Even replacing SMPS can't fix your system, you need to consult your system vendor/mechanic for further assistance. Possibly Motherboard BIOS may get corrupted or Chip get damaged.
