There is a Dress Designer named Tina Vincent who designs dresses Indian to Western and she specializes in large size dresses for ladies.
Her shop is located on Khader Nawaz Khan Road [off Nungambakkam High road]. Name of the Building is "Shyam's Garden"

It depends what kind of dress you want. You have got places like Nalli, Kumaran Silks, RMKV silks for sareees and chudies too... For other freak out dresses, you have to go to West side, Sri Krishna Collections etc
