August: Osage County is a comedic play by author Tracy Letts. It has been described as the "One of the most bracing and critically acclaimed plays in recent Broadway history, August: Osage County is a portrait of the dysfunctional American family at its finest-and absolute worst."

His other works include Killer Joe, Bug, and Man from Nebraska, which was a finalist for the 2004 Pulitzer Prize for Drama.

It is a play by Tracy Letts. The plot centers on the reunion of a family and deals with such issues as: drug abuse, alcoholism, suicide, death, family dysfunction, sexual harassment, aging, generational change, racism, incest, infidelity, and ultimately love.
