Yes. But I believe he left his thoughts in the pensieve to be seen by Harry at a latter date. It is all part of the big plan to get Snape into the Lord Voldemort's inner circle and then help Harry to kill the Dark Lord.

From my own recent experience, I can tell you that a starred review in PW is like having free advertising on a national scale. My latest fantasy release, THE BLACKGLOOM BOUNTY instantly gained attention both from book buyers and movie industry people because of the PW review. From what I'm told, only about 5% of new releases get reviews in major publications and of that number only about 5% get those coveted starred reviews, so it is a huge deal for both authors and publishers.
